Let your Registered Maine Guide welcome you aboard our luxury pontoon boat or air conditioned 12 passenger van. Leaving from our Twin Pine Camps Cabin location, on the shores of Millinocket Lake, it is not uncommon for us to see numerous moose(in May and June) as well as bald eagles, loons, osprey, great blue herons, Canada geese, whitetail deer and the occasional black bear. This tour and safari is a "must" for those who want to see a Maine moose "up close and personal" in their natural habitat. We have a moose sighting guarantee.

TWIN PINE CAMPS CABINS AND COVESIDE GUEST HOUSES: Throughout the Fall, we have been busy updating and expanding Twin Pine Camps. We have added a new, very large premium cabin that sleeps 14 people named Trout Mountain. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and great views of Millinocket Lake and Mt. Katahdin. Our expansion of Twin Pines is proceeding with the addition of 9 Coveside Guest Houses. We plan to have some of the Guest Houses available to rent in April with the remaining finished by July 2009! These LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified Guest Houses will be trailside/lakeside and have 3 private bedrooms (sleep 8), 2 bathrooms and spacious, well equipped living quarters with full kitchen, TV, sunroom, gas fireplace, mud room. Packages include raft trip, two nights lodging, one dinner, two breakfasts at our River Drivers Restaurant, and use of all resort amenities. The price ranges given depend on day of week rafting or lodging and depend on number of people lodging. *Lodging at Twin Pine Cabins has minimum occupancy requirements and includes 1 breakfast and one dinner the day of your raft trip. Cabins vary and sleep from 4 to 14. Ask our reservations staff for pricing for children 12 and under.

• Double Trouble: On the Penobscot, Double Trouble trips are twice the Class V whitewater! These trips run Ripogenus Gorge twice for an extra $20 per person. Double Trouble is run every Thursday and on selected weekends in September. Give us a call or check our website for dates.

Both resorts offer a wide variety lodging options for individuals, couples or groups from Maine wilderness camping to cozy cabins and cottages to luxurious, Coveside Guest Houses on Millinocket Lake with spectacular views of Mt. Katahdin. We are jsut 6 miles before Baxter State Park.

Lakeside Resort:

Located in The Forks area by the Kennebec river in Caratunk, Maine, the Lakeside Resort is right on Wyman Lake.

Millinocket Resort:

Our Millinocket resort offers two options: Twin Pine Camps Cabins and Coveside Guest Houses on Lake Millinocket, which commands a spectacular view of Mt. Katahdin as well as exceptional views of the lake itself, and the Rice Farm Center Campground on the banks of the lower Penobscot in Millinocket. Both Twin Pine Camps and the Rice Farm Campground offer easy access to rafting on the Penobscot River and hiking on Mount Katahdin and in Baxter State Park.

You can find Maine vacation cabins at our two resort locations, both of which offer cozy lakeside cabin rentals. These charming cabins in Maine are available in a range of sizes and styles, from log cabins with bunk beds to bigger guesthouses for summer rentals or Maine vacations in any season.

Campsites rates are priced per person.

Cabins Tents are canvas tents on a platform with an electric light screen
doors and windows and 4 cots.

Cozy Camping Cabins have a metal roof, glass windows and doors, electric light and 4 cots.
Cabin tents and Cozy Camping Cabins come with fitted sheet, pillow, pillow case.
Full bedding included flat top sheet and blanket, $5 additional per person for full bedding.
Children under 12 are free.

Breakfast: $9.50pp at River Drivers or Penobscot Outdoor Center

Complete buffet breakfast with bacon or sausage, eggs, pancakes or french toast, home fries, fruit, cold cereals, coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, milk.

Dinner: $23pp at River Drivers, $21 at Penobscot Outdoor Ctr

Choose from one of four entrees off our dinner menu, non-alcoholic beverage and housemade dessert (Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Cake).
